Product and logistics information
The cargo description should identify the required form, contractual specification, quantity basis and delivery sequence. Marine, rail, road and container movements should each have an identified party responsible for coordinating their interface. A generic image may help visualise the service category but does not verify stock, equipment, capacity or an available delivery window.
Evidence that accompanies a proposal
Product reports, facility records and commercial agreements answer different questions. A review should establish who issued each document, what cargo and period it covers, and how it can be authenticated. A general terminal profile must not be used as a substitute for a specific cargo acceptance, custody statement or quality report.
